From shoulder pain to back to breaking colts

I can't say enough great things about Whitney and all the help and Knowledge she gave me. I was sent to PT for a shoulder pain that would not go away. Whitney quickly realized I needed more than just some stretches and strength building, Whitney helped me get my primary DR. to see that I really needed surgery. then after the surgery I went back to her for PT to get my shoulder working properly again not only did she help me build my strength, she used cupping and dry needling to break up my scar tissue and to keep the pain level down after I did PT each time, I was discharged from PT 4 weeks early. Whitney helped me obtain full range of motion again and I was back to starting two year old colts that spring which was more than I could have asked for. She goes above and beyond and actually cares about you as a patient and wants you to live the best life you can. I would and do recommend her to my friends.

Back to the Court and Beyond

I came to Whitney last year in August with a note from my doctor. It said that I needed to have physical therapy to try to make my shoulder, which I injured the previous summer, strong and ready for basketball season. I was worried there could possibly be a tear but thankfully there wasn't. I was told by Whitney that my muscle didn't respond correctly when I got hurt and they haven't gone back to normal. Over the next 3 months, I worked with Whitney to get my shoulder strong and I came back better than ever. Over the basketball season of 2019- 2020, I had a few problems with my knee and shoulder again. I went to see her and she once again helped me figure out what was wrong. At the end of the season I got a concussion and when she was assessing me, she was very patient and had good people skills. One thing that I love about how she treats her patients is, how much she gets on a personal level with them. Everyday I went to physical therapy we would talk about how things are in my life and as well as she could make me laugh. She also made me stronger so I can do other things I love to do such as show sheep, ride horses, exercise, play volleyball, and play basketball. If I ever need to go back to her for any therapy I will, also I recommend her as a physical therapist. She is very good and will get your body back to feeling like 100%.

Various locations of pain - one ultimate goal to see results and return to active lifestyle!

Whitney has been extremely helpful in rehabbing my injured hamstring and a sore shoulder through telehealth. She is very good at demonstrating and explaining the exercises I need to do. I appreciate her ideas to use what I already have at home to ensure my success. Working with Whitney is helping me achieve my goals of becoming fit, avoiding surgeries and decreasing pain with everyday tasks.
